Aussie Summer Tour Update

As Dorothy said, there is no place like home! Especially during summer.

My aussie summer tour started last Thursday with a sell out show in Melbourne at the Workers Club and the boys and I spent the Australia day weekend playing down on the surf coast. We’re starting to get back in the groove and its been awesome to play again with my bro Dave (on percussion and BVs) and Yiorgs, who as always, is taking care of the low end.

We are also doing a bunch of Dave’s songs from his My Private Dinosaur project, which gives me the chance to give the cajon a bit of a bash and toughen my hands up. Finally special thanks to the Cheesethief and DJ Jackson Ross for the banging tunes between sets.

We have lots of driving ahead of us before Mt. Gambier and Adelaide this weekend but we will taking the scenic route along the great ocean road.

To everyone stuck in cold Germany, I’m sending you warm and sunny greetings! Funnily enough we are actually playing at a German festival in Adelaide this weekend… ich werde an euch denken 🙂

Btw. I did a little interview with local regional magazine Forte, talking about the tour and my travels.
