Greetings from London Town
I’m writing from London on a lazy sunday morning, nursing a slight hangover and enjoying the last remnants of summer which is refusing to transition into autumn – and I’m not complaining! It’s been a great week, have played some cool shows and as always, have met a bunch of interesting people. Highlights include jamming with a jazz clarinet player live on the radio (see around 50”) and the jam session at Pandora’s palace after my living room show, which included an indian khol drum player, good times!
Then to top it off, I got up at 5am yesterday to watch the mighty hawkers go back-to-back at a pub in shepherds bush. There were so many aussies there I almost thought I was back home….. Back to Hamburg on Tuesday and I’m looking forward to spending lots of time in the studio in the next few weeks to start work on the new album.
