Swiss spring solo tour wrap

Just finished a power solo tour in Switzerland, 9 shows in a week in 8 different cities, with a few mountain hikes and lots of chocolate in between.

This country never ceases to amaze me, you can climb a mountain and fill your water bottle direct from a stream running down a cliff face, or go swimming in ridiculously clear rivers flowing through the middle of major cities and sometimes, certain villages and landscapes look so beautifully cliché that I just have to laugh.

But most importantly for me, the swiss really know how to look after musicians and the gigs were awesome. It’s hard to pick highlights but the show at Gotthard bar in Zürich had an incredible vibe also thanks to the amazing local band Effie’s Biest who opened – they’re about to record their first EP soon so stay tuned.

I’ve spent a lot of time in Switzerland and I love being able to catch up with family and friends along the way, merci vielmals to everyone that came out to a show and special thanks to my tour photographer Sanja Tomanic for the great pics!

I also learnt an important marketing lesson: yesterday, I had to perform wearing a #jhaveatee as I didn’t have any more clean t-shirts. The result was after the show I quickly sold out of tees after not selling a single one during the whole tour!

Lucky I haven’t started selling #jhaveaundies yet otherwise I might be compelled to play in my jocks 😀

Auf wiederleuga liebe Schweiz!
